What People Ask Us
A private introduction service invites questions a dating app never has to answer. Here are the ones we hear most.
Why not just use a dating app?
An app hands you a database and asks you to do the searching. We do the searching. Every introduction we make has already been considered by a person who has met you, understood what you are actually looking for, and matched you against someone we believe is right — not against everyone who happened to be online that week.
How are members vetted?
In person, by private appointment in London. There is no form that replaces the conversation — we meet every member before we introduce them to anyone, and take the time to understand values, circumstances, and what a genuine match would actually look like for them.
What happens to my information?
It stays with us. We do not maintain a public database of members, we do not publish photographs, and every enquiry is held in strict confidence from the first conversation onward.
What does membership cost?
Membership is bespoke, and priced after a private consultation rather than published as a fixed fee — every search is different, and so is the work it takes. Begin with a private enquiry and we will discuss it directly.
How long does the process take?
There is no fixed timeline. An introduction is made when we believe it is genuinely right, not on a schedule — which sometimes means quickly, and sometimes means waiting for the right person to come along.
Do you work outside London?
Maison Matchmaking is based in London, and every consultation and introduction currently takes place here, in person, by private appointment.
How do I begin?
With a private enquiry. From there, we arrange a confidential first conversation to understand whether we are the right fit for each other.
